The Honda EM6500s generator is equipped with a commercial grade high powered Honda iGX390 389cc engine with electric start {includes battery} with recoil back-up. This Honda delivers 6500 watts and 120/240 volts ideal for appliances, A/C units, and furnaces, home and job site use, etc. The intelligent automatic voltage regulation {iAVR} technology system will deliver 7000 watts for up to 10 seconds when extra starting power is needed. The iAVR system also provides regardless of the load stable power perfect for computers.
Offering flexibility, the 120/240 volt selector switch allows the user the choice of both 120 and 240 volts or simply 120 volts, the total output can be used with any 120-volt outlet. The electric circuit breakers protect the generator from overloading. The oil alert system shuts down power if oil levels are dangerously low, protecting the generator. Fuel efficient this Honda features a 6.2-gallon fuel tank and able to run power for up to 10.4 hours on half load or 6.9 hours fulling loaded on a single tank of gas.
Conveniently located on the front panel are several outlets. The EM6500s features the wheel kit and folding handles for easy storing and handling as well as reinforced standing legs and the frame protection. Honda offers a wide selection of optional accessories including the remote control kit, DC charging cord, and transfer switch, etc.
